Corrosion Test

The test meets the ASTM F2129 standard requirements to evaluate the corrosion susceptibility of small metallic implantable medical devices using the PalmSens4 Potentiostat and the Model K0047 Corrosion Cell System. Testing is performed to the device in its final form, with flexible specimen holders to accommodate various device sizes and configurations.

Ex Vivo Simulator

The Ex Vivo Simulator uses a pulsatile flow loop to generate physiological flows and pressures in an excised heart for testing. This platform is ideal for studying device implantation and efficacy under realistic cardiac conditions, allowing control over parameters and visual inspection. It enhances product quality and enables assessment of the heart's response during interventions.

Tensile Test

Tensile testing serves multiple purposes, including testing of Ni-Ti samples to assess their material properties as outlined in the ASTM-2516 standard, as well as verifying the mechanical connections (bonds) of catheters and delivery systems, among other applications.

Ylabs provides tensile testing services tailored to meet the specific customers needs and requirements.
